Is there second chance for salvation after death?

It is very imperative that as Christians, we grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are some who are of the view that even after death, there is still hope of salvation for the departed souls. But this thought is in direct contradiction to the teaching of the bible. There is no where written in the holy writ, that those who die without saving faith in Christ Jesus will ever have the opportunity to hear the gospel again and be saved. 

We die once 

The bible says: And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment (Hebrews 9; 27). God's word states clearly that after death comes judgement, which means that the eternal destiny of the departed souls have been sealed. There is no second chance for those who rejected Christ and died in their sins. The glorious gospel can only be accepted and rejected here on this side eternity and not in the afterlife. This is why apostle Paul by the Spirit wrote: For He says, "At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is "the acceptable time," behold, now is "the day of salvation"- 2 Corinthians 6; 2

Peradventure, if you are not yet born again, there is no need to continue to reject the only message which has the power to save your soul (Romans 1; 16). Do not suffer any one to deceive you into thinking that even after death, you will still have the opportunity to hear the gospel and be saved. I tell thee that even after death you will not turn towards God in repentance. If you transition into the afterlife without any personal relationship with Christ, you will perish eternally. 

Lazarus and the Rich Man

The rich Man perished in hell after death, he had no opportunity to be saved or to comeback to this world again. This should tell you that after death, there is no coming back to this life or that there is no way you will have the chance to repent anymore (Luke 16; 19-31). It is a mirage to believe that there is a chance to believe in Christ after death, but on the other hand, salvation and it's subsequent benefits will be credited into the account of whoever that puts their faith in Christ for salvation. To spend eternity with Jesus Christ in glory is way better, than to spend eternity in hell. Jesus Christ is the only accredited Savior, who can save you and make you a new creation.

Is there a chance for a person to be saved after death? Certainly not, salvation and the offer of salvation is still ongoing here on earth. If you have not exercised saving faith in Christ for salvation, then I encourage you to call upon the name of the Lord and you shall saved, see (Romans 10: 13). God bless you

If Jesus was God, then why did he pray to God?
